Stride: Distance & Pace

About this app

A running tracker that speaks up, so you don't have to look down. Stride measures your run with your iPhone's GPS and calls out every milestone out loud: "3 kilometers. Time, 16 minutes 12 seconds. Average pace, 5 minutes 24 seconds per kilometer." Choose the spacing that suits you — every half, one, two or five kilometres or miles. BUILT TO BE GLANCED AT • One big number: how far you have gone • A ring that fills as you close in on the next milestone • Time, average pace and current pace. Nothing else. ANNOUNCEMENTS ON YOUR TERMS • Choose what you hear: distance, elapsed time, average pace, last split • Ducks your music instead of stopping it • Mute or unmute with one tap mid-run • Hear a sample in Settings before you head out EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR IPHONE Stride has no account, no sign-up and no internet connection. Your runs, splits and GPS routes are stored only on your device. Nothing is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to. AFTER THE RUN • Every run saved with a split for each kilometre or mile • Your route drawn on a map • Distance, time and run count for the week at a glance • Search back through everything you have run Keeps working with the screen off and the phone in your pocket, so the distance keeps counting and the milestones keep coming. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://www.pyrean.com/stride/privacy/

Lock your phone during the countdown and Stride keeps up. • Locking the phone before the countdown reached zero could leave the Lock Screen stuck at the start and hold back your milestones until you opened the app again. Distance, announcements and the Live Activity now carry on from a pocketed phone, however early you lock it.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
