Numerift turns numbers into a hands-on playground. Travel along an expansive number line, bring integers onto your canvas, and discover how they behave through movement, patterns, and arithmetic. EXPLORE THE NUMBER LINE - Pan across positive and negative integers - Zoom from nearby values to much larger ranges - Select an integer and inspect its mathematical profile - Add chosen values to a separate experimentation canvas DISCOVER NUMBER PROPERTIES Learn whether a value is positive, negative, or zero; even or odd; prime or composite; square; or triangular. For suitable values, Numerift also shows factors, prime factorization, absolute value, and additive inverse. BUILD WITH NUMBERS - Drag number objects anywhere on the canvas - Toss objects and watch them bounce and collide - Enable gentle drifting motion for a lively workspace - Combine two values using addition, subtraction, multiplication, or exact integer division - Undo, redo, duplicate, remove, or clear your experiments PLAY TARGET CHALLENGES Start with the classic target of 24 and four numbers, or choose your own target and starting values. Combine every starting number to reach the goal. Generated puzzles favor solutions while keeping each round quick to begin and satisfying to explore. MAKE IT YOURS Choose custom image avatars for individual numbers, save favorites in each number's gallery, and adjust their visual and physical size. Your canvas and preferences are stored locally so you can continue later. Numerift is an open-ended space for arithmetic practice, number sense, pattern discovery, experimentation, and playful problem solving.
