About this app
Scanveyor turns your LiDAR-equipped iPhone or iPad into a complete field survey tool for engineers, architects, contractors, and more. Walk through a room with Apple's LiDAR scanner, and Scanveyor builds an accurate 3D model of the space, automatically detecting walls, doors, windows, and elevation changes like stairs. FROM SCAN TO FLOOR PLAN Every scan is converted into a true-to-scale, color-coded floor plan you can export as a vector PDF or an ASCII DXF file that opens directly in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other CAD software. Classify each wall as exterior, party wall, or partition, and note unfinished construction like exposed studs or masonry right from your phone. FULL HEAT LOAD CALCULATIONS Scanveyor includes a full-envelope, orientation-aware heat load engine that goes beyond a quick estimate: transmission loads from scanned wall, window, and door areas, orientation-based solar gain, roof/ceiling and floor/slab loads, infiltration with real psychrometric latent-load math, duct losses, and internal gains. Get sensible and latent breakdowns, design heating and cooling airflow (CFM), and a full results history for every calculation you run. These results are an engineering estimate, not a certified Manual J or Manual S computation, and should be verified by a licensed professional before being used for equipment sizing, permitting, or construction decisions. DIGITAL SKETCHING Sketch directly on digital 1/8" or 1/4" scale graph paper for each floor, with grid snapping, a ruler tool, typed exact measurements, pen and highlighter tools with custom colors, and multi-page support. Export any sketch page as a PDF. BUILT FOR THE FIELD Organize projects into folders and buildings, attach reference photos and notes to any scan, switch between US and Metric units anywhere in the app, and back up your data to your own iCloud Drive. Export a full project as a shareable file to move it to another device. Scanveyor requires a LiDAR-equipped device: iPhone 12 Pro or later Pro model, or iPad Pro (2020 or later). SUBSCRIPTION Browsing your folders and viewing existing data is free. Creating new folders, buildings, and scans, and using the sketch, wall classification, and heat load calculation tools, requires a Scanveyor subscription: - Monthly: $9.99/month - Yearly: $89.99/year Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Scanveyor's heat load calculations are engineering estimates based on scanned geometry and user-entered construction details, in the spirit of ASHRAE Fundamentals and ACCA Manual J methodology, but do not reproduce either body's copyrighted latitude/month/hour tables and do not check results against any adopted building code. Have all results verified by a licensed professional before using them for design, permitting, equipment sizing, or construction decisions.
