FocusTube is a Safari web extension companion that helps you watch YouTube with less noise—on purpose. ON BY DEFAULT (new installs) • Hide Shorts entry points from home, search, and navigation • Open Shorts links in the regular player (not the Shorts feed) • Hide feed and page promo cards • Block video ads while watching in Safari (best-effort—not a 100% ad-free claim) OPTIONAL FOCUS (Settings → Focus) • Hide related videos, end screens, Mixes, comments, or the home feed—each switch is yours • Open YouTube to Subscriptions or Library instead of Home • Pause FocusTube anytime from the host app SUBSCRIPTION • Annual auto-renewing subscription. First month free if Apple says you’re eligible, then $1.99/year (or local equivalent) • Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid renewal • Family Sharing supported • Payment and renewal are handled by Apple PRIVACY • On-device. No account required. • No analytics or advertising tracking SDKs. • Not affiliated with YouTube or Google. REQUIREMENTS • iPhone (iPad supported).
