About this app

France Papyrus is a private, end-to-end encrypted vault for your most sensitive files — identity documents, contracts, receipts, photos and videos. Everything is encrypted on your device with AES-256 before it ever leaves your iPhone. Only you hold the key — not even we can read your content. WHY FRANCE PAPYRUS • End-to-end encryption — files, thumbnails and metadata are encrypted at rest with AES-GCM. • Zero-knowledge — your key never leaves your devices; we can't access your content. • Private iCloud sync — your encrypted vault follows you across your Apple devices, using your own iCloud storage. • Offline first — the vault lives on your device; sync happens quietly in the background. POWERFUL, YET SIMPLE • Import from Photos, Files or the camera. • Scan documents and text (OCR) straight into encrypted PDFs. • Organize with folders; rename, move and favorite your files. • Preview images (pinch to zoom), PDFs, text and videos — decrypted on the fly, never stored in the clear. • Export or share any item, only when you choose to. • Trash with a recovery window before permanent deletion. SECURITY YOU CONTROL • Unlock with Face ID / Touch ID or a private passcode. • Automatic re-lock, lock on background, and a privacy screen in the app switcher. • Screen-capture protection — your content stays hidden from screenshots and screen recordings. • Progressive lockout after failed attempts, with an optional emergency wipe. • Rotate your encryption key at any time. FAIR & FLEXIBLE • Generous free weekly import allowances. • Optional coin packs let you unlock extra imports or folders when you need them. Your documents deserve a real vault. France Papyrus keeps them private — on your terms. Note: iCloud is required for sync. Encrypted files use your iCloud storage.
