About this app
Atlas of Travels organizes your family’s travel history around the actual journey, not just a pin on a map. Create a trip suitcase, enter the dates and participants, and then keep a day-by-day journal. You can add only photos selected through the system photo picker. You can mark your own places manually on the map; access to your current location is optional and is available only after you choose the relevant function. In every trip, you’ll find: a journal with text and photos; a family atlas of places you’ve visited; a budget by category, daily cost, and cost per person; amounts in the original currencies, with an optional exchange rate you enter yourself; an editable packing list; gentle suggestions about “what we didn’t use,” based on similar trips and seasons; a PDF album and a statistics card to save or share. A separate “Where to Go Back” suitcase stores places and ideas for future trips. A note can later be turned into a travel plan. The app works locally and remains useful offline. It does not track your route in the background, automatically detect trips, or contain ads or analytics. Optional family sharing uses private iCloud invitations. There are no public profiles, rankings, or other people’s routes.
