Snake Returns is the classic grid game, rebuilt with care for players who remember how it is supposed to feel. THE RULES DON'T BEND - A fixed 20 × 15 grid, identical on every phone and tablet. - One cell per tick. Eat, grow one segment, score one point. Nothing else scores. - Hit a wall or yourself and the run is over. No lives, no shields, no power-ups. - The pace climbs as your score does, on the same curve for everyone, so every score on the leaderboard means the same thing. IT FEELS RIGHT - Movement is strictly grid-locked, but the snake is drawn smoothly between cells and rounds its corners, so it moves like a snake rather than a stack of squares. - A solid D-pad sits below the playfield and never covers it. Mirror it for either hand or drag it where you want it. Prefer swipes? Switch in settings. - Your next turn is buffered the instant you press it, with a haptic tap to confirm, so fast turns land when you meant them to. - Sound and haptics each have their own switch. NO ADS WHILE YOU PLAY - No advertisement of any kind appears while the snake is alive. - Die, and you may watch one optional video to continue: the game rewinds a few moves to a safe position and play resumes. One continue per run, never more. - If an ad can't load, the game simply carries on. Play Again is always instant. EARN YOUR THEMES - Unlock themes by playing, and a few by setting high scores. Themes change the look, food and sound, never the rules. - Leaderboards and achievements through Game Center. Sign-in is optional, and the game itself plays fully offline. - Share a score card of any finished run. REMOVE ADS A single one-time purchase removes all advertising from this app, permanently, as the app exists today. The continue stays available, without an ad. Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
