Pick a bead, drag it onto the pen, and — click — it slides onto the barrel. Thread them one at a time and you end up with a pen no one else has, and that pen becomes your Home Screen widget and your Lock Screen. HOW YOU THREAD IT 1. Open the bead box Glass, pearl, jelly, shapes, alphabet letters, Hangul syllables and rhinestones — 61 of them. Start with whichever one matches today. 2. Click it on Tap a bead, or drag it onto the pen, and it drops into place on the barrel. On iPhone you feel that little click in your fingertips. 3. Move things around Drag a threaded bead to change the order, and drag it off the pen to slip it back out. Six beads to a pen — you'll be told when it's full. 4. Clip on a charm Add a charm at the end of the pen and it sways every time you thread a bead on or take one off. 5. When the pen is done Keep it in the pencil case, save it as a wallpaper with no watermark, or put it on your Home Screen as a widget. PICK THE PEN TOO Pencil, ballpoint, gel, fountain, brush, highlighter, mechanical — seven of them, each with its own barrel colour and ink. THERE'S ALSO • Lines you kept. Save the lines that stayed with you, and meet them again in the widget, right next to your pen. • Share cards. Turn a line and your pen into a single card, ready for your story. • iPhone, iPad. Quietly carried along by your own iCloud, and you can switch that off in Settings whenever you like. • On iPad, sketch with the very pen you threaded, with Apple Pencil. • 28 languages. PRIVACY No account, no sign-in. No tracking, no analytics, no ads. The app checks whether a new version is out, and sends nothing about you. What you make stays on this device and in your own iCloud.
