About this app

Teleprompy is a teleprompter that listens. Put your script right beside the front camera, start reading, and the words scroll at the speed you actually speak. Skip a line, pause, go back: it finds where you are and carries on. READ LIKE YOU ARE TALKING TO SOMEONE The script sits in a narrow column directly under the lens, so your eyes stay on the camera and your viewers see you, not someone reading. IT FOLLOWS YOUR VOICE Speech recognition runs on the phone and moves the prompter word by word. Nothing is timed by a stopwatch, and nothing you say leaves the device. CAPTIONS THAT ARE NEVER MISSPELLED Your take already has a script, so the captions are word-perfect. Choose from six looks: Pop, Highlight, Karaoke, Bold, Neon and Classic. Pick an accent colour or your own from the colour picker, set the size, drag the captions where you want them, and preview the exact result before you export. TEXT BEHIND YOU Turn on Behind You and the words sit behind you in the frame, the style you see from the biggest creators, rendered on your phone. BUILT FOR REAL RECORDING • Records in segments, so a crash or a phone call never loses a take • Trim the start and the end • Export clean, export with captions burned in, or save SRT and VTT files • Save straight to Photos or share anywhere • Import scripts from text, Markdown and Word files • Works in portrait and landscape PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No upload. No analytics. Your scripts, your takes and your voice stay on your iPhone. FREE, WITH ONE HONEST UPGRADE The free version is the full prompter with recording up to 3 minutes per take and SRT/VTT captions, with no watermark, ever. Teleprompy Full is a single purchase that removes the take limit and unlocks burned-in captions. No subscription. Teleprompy needs an iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Speech recognition uses Apple's on-device recognizer and works best in a quiet room.
