About this app
When a critical incident occurs, Responders have no insights into what is happening within a building. Where are the building floor plans or campus maps? Are all occupants safe, unsafe, and do they need medical attention? Are students safe and accounted for? Where is the threat located? Where are your people in the building? Little or no communication happens with responders. Radio signals are usually weak. This lack of information dilemma is commonly referred to as the Big Black Hole by responders. Aegix AIM provides information from within an incident, which creates more consideration on how your organization communicates and plans with responders, key administrators, and staff. Additionally, these aforementioned issues should be considered when reviewing various school safety protocols, standard operating procedures, products, equipment, and services.
