About this app
All-Access at the Media School is the hub to watch or listen to curated content developed by Indiana University Bloomington students and faculty studying at the Media School. You can watch various types of student media, video and audio podcasts, and many other types of content developed by our community. This service provides an opportunity for students and faculty to publicly share their work created using our facilities and equipment. The Media School combines a liberal arts education with hands-on, professional training to propel students into the world as leaders in the media industry. We offer our students extensive, early opportunities and cutting-edge facilities and equipment to foster a creative community both inside and outside the classroom. Our three-fold curriculum emphasizes thinking about, managing, and creating media, and prepares students to succeed not only in their first jobs, but in future careers that may not exist yet — careers they may help shape. Our graduates understand the foundations of media, the present state of media, how media is changing, and how not to just accept change, but to determine what that change will be. Understanding trends in media and how to innovate means understanding the past and the present, because present media used to be future media, and dominant practices and alternative practices often switch places. And sometimes old technology and techniques become new again.
