About this app

Baby Bites does not tell you what to cook. It remembers what your baby has already tasted, how it went, and where each of the twelve major allergens stands — so you can answer the pediatrician without digging through your memory. 197 foods and their age markers are already there, from first purees to baby led weaning. You log the introductions, then the repeats, as the weeks go by. The app is fully available in English. What is free: the whole tracking side. The catalogue, the journal, progress, the 12 major allergens, and passing the journal to the other parent. What costs money, once: Baby's Records, which takes your journal off the phone as three PDFs. WHAT IS FREE, AND STAYS FREE - 197 starter foods with age markers: 4, 6, 8 and 12 months - Tracking for the 12 major allergens it covers: peanut, tree nuts, sesame, soy, egg, milk, gluten, fish, crustaceans, mollusks, celery, mustard - Journal for foods, observations, alerts, notes and progress - 7 food groups: vegetables, fruit, grains and starches, proteins, dairy, fats and spices - No account, no ads, no tracking TRACK EACH INTRODUCTION - Save the first date each food was introduced - Record your baby's reaction: liked, neutral or disliked - Record digestive or possible allergy alerts you observed - "I served this again today" logs a repeat without overwriting the first time - Add your own preparation notes THE MAJOR ALLERGENS - Where each of the 12 allergens stands, based on what you recorded - First date offered, and how many days since it was last given - The allergens you forget to serve again say so themselves: "not given again for two weeks" - Peanut and sesame arrive with their preparation note INTRODUCTION JOURNAL - Complete history organized by date - See every first food at a glance - Find foods with alerts quickly PROGRESS - Overall progress percentage - Progress by food group - Reaction breakdown ADD YOUR OWN FOODS - Complete the list with foods you choose - Pick the group and your own age marker BABY'S RECORDS — ONE-TIME PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION Pay once, for every one of your children. Three PDF documents, generated on your device from your journal: - Feeding record: the summary to take to the pediatrician visit - Foods already tasted: the flat list, ready to print for daycare - Book of firsts: the keepsake summary, with dates and reactions The first page of all three is free to view, so you see exactly what you are buying. If you were already using Baby Bites, Baby's Records is yours for free. FAMILY TRANSFER Family Transfer stays free, without a purchase: export the journal from one phone, import it on the other parent's phone, and keep direct control of the shared file. YOUR DATA, YOUR RULES The journal is stored on your device. It leaves only when you choose to export a transfer file or a document. No analytics, no tracking, no data collection. Baby Bites records your observations. It does not provide medical advice or diagnose reactions. For feeding guidance or a possible allergic reaction, contact a qualified healthcare professional.

What’s New

Version 1.1.0 Aug 21, 2026

The catalogue was incomplete: peanut, sesame and soy were missing. This version adds six allergen foods with their preparation notes — peanut butter arrives thinned, never in lumps — and an Allergens screen showing where each of the 12 major allergens stands, based on your journal. Free for everyone. Also free, and overdue: "I served this again today". An allergen is not settled by a single tasting, and until now the app could only remember the first one. You can log every repeat with one tap, the introduction date stays untouched, and the Allergens screen flags the ones not given again for a week or two. New: Baby's Records, a one-time purchase with no subscription, which takes the journal off the phone as three PDFs — the feeding record for the pediatrician, the food list for daycare, and the book of firsts. The first page of all three is readable before you buy. If you were already using Baby Bites, it is yours for free. Tips are gone. The app sells one product, and it says which.
