The recording is analysed entirely on your iPhone and deleted the moment the analysis is done. The audio is never uploaded and never stored. The analyser now listens for the cry itself before it starts recording, so a television or a conversation in the next room is no longer taken for your baby. If there is nothing to hear, the app says so instead of guessing. The suggested reason now takes your diary into account — how long since the last feed, how long your baby has been awake, the time of day. If the diary is still empty, one tap tells the app when you last fed, and the answer sharpens right away. Reminders are off unless you turn them on yourself, in Menu → Notifications. The app no longer asks for permission to write to you before you have asked it to.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
