Berkshire Scanner brings the berkshirescan.com radio log to your phone. Public-safety radio in Berkshire County is broadcast unencrypted, in the clear. Berkshire Scanner listens, transcribes it automatically, and presents the result as a readable, searchable log — so you can see what is happening around the county without sitting next to a scanner radio. LIVE FEED Transcripts arrive as they are spoken, newest first. Search the archive by any word or phrase. AUDIO Where a recording exists, play the short radio clip the transcript was made from — from the row itself, or from the full transcript. MAP Incidents that mention a location are placed on a map of the county, colored and shaped by type, with a heat view for the busier windows. DAILY RECAPS A written summary of each day's traffic, so you can catch up on the hours you missed.
