About this app
Call Shield: Block Unwanted Calls and Safeguard Your Privacy Take control of incoming calls with Call Shield — a powerful utility that blocks robocallers, telemarketers, and unwanted numbers using custom blocklists that operate entirely on your device. Please Note: Call Shield is a custom rule and list manager. It does NOT include a pre-packaged spam database or built-in caller directory. You create, import, and manage your own custom blocklists and number ranges. Key Features: - Block & Identify Unwanted Calls: Add specific numbers or entire number ranges (prefixes) to block or identify callers. Supports up to 200 million numbers across multiple extensions. - 100% Offline & Private: Fully offline operation. No login required, and no data is transmitted — your privacy stays completely protected. - Flexible Custom Lists: Easily create, import, and manage your own custom blocklists and identification ranges. Important Notes: - No Pre-packaged Database: Call Shield does not provide a pre-installed spam database; you need to add your own numbers, prefixes, or lists. - Voicemail Handling: Blocked calls may still be forwarded to voicemail, depending on your mobile carrier’s policies. - Do Not Disturb Mode: If Do Not Disturb mode is active, blocked calls may still appear silently on your Home screen or in Recents. - Extension Setup: If Call Shield extensions don't appear immediately after updating rules, open Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification to verify they are enabled. Privacy Policy: Call Shield does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or call history. All blocking is handled locally on your device.
