About this app
CamWall turns your Apple TV into a live security-camera wall. See every camera at once in a clean grid, or open any one full-screen — right on the biggest screen in your home. WHICH CAMERAS WORK CamWall connects directly to cameras on your own network over RTSP — the standard that security cameras use. That includes: • Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink, Amcrest, Annke, Uniview, Foscam, Lorex, Swann and other RTSP cameras • TP-Link Tapo and Ubiquiti UniFi Protect cameras with RTSP enabled • Almost any PoE camera, and NVRs from the brands above • Anything else that gives you an rtsp:// address WHICH CAMERAS DO NOT WORK Some popular cameras only talk to their maker's servers and never expose a stream to your own network. CamWall cannot show these, and no app on any platform can: • Ring, Nest, Blink, Arlo, Wyze, Eufy (most models), Xiaomi and Mi Home If you are not sure, look for "RTSP" or "ONVIF" in your camera's settings or manual. If it is there, CamWall will work. FINDS YOUR CAMERAS FOR YOU • Scan your network — CamWall looks for ONVIF cameras and lists what it finds • Pick one, enter its password, and CamWall asks the camera for its stream addresses itself • Or paste an rtsp:// address directly, if you already have one BUILT FOR THE BIG SCREEN • Live grid of all your cameras, sized automatically • Full-screen view at the camera's full resolution • Light sub-streams in the grid, main stream full-screen — smooth even with many cameras • Clear Connecting and Reconnecting status, and automatic recovery when a stream drops SIMPLE AND PRIVATE • Press and hold any tile to edit or remove a camera • Camera passwords are kept in the Apple Keychain on your device • Your video never leaves your network. CamWall has no server, no analytics, no ads • One-time purchase. No subscription, no account Your Apple TV and your cameras must be on the same network. What’s New
CamWall can now find your cameras for you. • Scan your network — CamWall looks for ONVIF cameras and lists what it finds, then asks the camera itself for its stream addresses. No more hunting for the right rtsp:// path. • Cameras on non-standard ports are found too, not just port 80. • The store page now says plainly which cameras work and which cannot — cloud-only cameras like Ring, Nest and Blink never expose a stream to your network, and no app can show them.
