About this app
A simple and easy-to-use app for tuning Carnatic instruments. To get started, select the tonic pitch using the buttons visible on the screen. Then start playing, as you play, the app will tell you the swara you are playing and how in tune you are. The bar above the note shows how far you are off of the correct swara. If the bar is green, it means you are reasonably in tune! However, if the bar is red, that means you are out of tune. Please make sure shruti box/tambura is on low volume if you are using one.
