About this app
"CarPooling - Princeton Ride Share" connects users with matching carpooling needs in the Princeton, NJ area. Enter your your travel details (home location, work location, travel days and times and whether or not you have a car) and the app matches your travel details with other users. Matches are displayed on a map and ordered based on the separation of home locations. Overlapping days/times are indicated in a red/green graphic. A messaging system allows you to send and receive messages to and from your matches. Messaging is done anonymously until you chose to reveal your identity to a match. Flexible - can be used for daily 9-5 commuting, for off-hours commuting or for weekly scheduled activities. Enter information on up to 5 rides. Receive a notification whenever someone messages you. Uses Apple's iCloud CloudKit database; all information is transmitted and stored anonymously. Screenshots: 1) Matches around 'Home' location. Green areas on graphic indicate matches. 2) Matches around 'Work" location. 3) Match information on #2 identified by an anonymous ID#. 4) Messages received from other users of the app. 5) Sending a message giving contact information.
