About this app
Chat of Deduction is a turn-based detective mystery where reasoning corners the culprit: a contradiction in a confident answer, an alibi that quietly moved by an hour, a clue that reads differently the second time. Interrogation is free-form, without dialogue options — a case opens on deduction, not on a question. ◆ AN UNSOLVED CASE NEEDS YOUR DEDUCTION The investigation can go no further, so the file lands on the consulting detective's desk — yours. The culprit is well hidden, the alibis interlock, the decisive evidence lies concealed. Peeling that lie apart is your work. Nobody has solved this case before you; no walkthrough exists. ◆ NO FIXED ROUTE Alibis first, or relationships? Your way of thinking becomes your play style. Loose reasoning wanders, sharp thinking unsettles a suspect, and a dodge is itself a clue. ◆ THREE WAYS TO PLAY 1. Case Files — the classic mystery Cold cases entrusted to you. Search, cross-check, then name the culprit and the proof. A guess closes nothing. 2. Phantom Thief — unmask the disguise A sealed calling card announces the theft and starts the clock. Read its hints and the paper's, predict his next move, pick him out of the crowd. 3. Crime Advisor — hunt the designer of crimes He plans other people's crimes, so one case is never enough. Link clues across several, then spring the capture — startle him and he vanishes. The lure to a meeting is the endgame. ◆ FIVE WAYS A CASE FINDS YOU • Live dispatch off the police radio • A note left in the reception room • An ICPO request over a secure line • The Cold Case File Room, your pick • The newspaper — yesterday's article, today's case ◆ EVERY TURN COUNTS Questions and searches spend turns, so the order you choose is strategy. Cases run in parallel, and every file, solved or failed, stays in your archive. ◆ EVIDENCE IS READ, NOT COLLECTED A word let slip gives you a safe code; a small habit opens a locked device. The overview, clues and transcripts stay open to re-read. ◆ ABILITIES & MIND SHARDS Instant Scan reads the clues in front of you and flags what you missed. Perfect Memory searches the case for one opening: a code, a place, a record. Mind Shards, the core resource, buy extra turns, a new case or an ability — and reveal the truth behind a failure, reopen a finished case, or change your detective name. ◆ A NEWSPAPER, EVERY DAY Crime, sightings, gossip — and your solved cases in print, under your name, with how the investigation went. Archived by date. ◆ ROOKIE TO LEGENDARY DETECTIVE Reputation climbs ten ranks: Rookie, Gumshoe, Private Eye, Seasoned, Renowned, First-Rate, Ace, Elite, Master and Legendary Detective. Daily play builds a streak; reviewing a loss makes you sharper. ◆ PLAY TIPS • Turns are limited — choose what matters • Cross-check alibis against motives • Stuck? A Mind Shard beats a wasted turn ◆ MADE FOR • Detective and mystery fans between puzzles • Anyone who wants to reach the verdict themselves • Escape room, brain game and text adventure fans • Sherlocks at heart who live for the reveal • Story sessions that fit a commute ◆ FAQ Q. Too hard without a walkthrough? A. The clues play fair — everything you need is placed where you can find it — and abilities open a way. Q. Can I play in English? A. Yes — the whole game is in English. Q. Is a failed case the end? A. No. Reveal the truth or reopen the investigation. Failure builds a detective too. ◆ GOOD TO KNOW • Internet connection required • Play as a guest; Google or Apple sign-in saves records • 15 languages • Updated regularly A perfect crime stopped one investigation cold, and only your deduction is left. A client's note waits in the reception room — open your first case file in Chat of Deduction.

What’s New
This update polishes the whole run of a case — from the moment it lands on your desk to the article it leaves in the paper. ◆ THE CALLING CARD ARRIVES SEALED The Phantom Thief's calling card now reaches your home screen as a sealed envelope, and you are the one who opens it. Fixed along the way: thief cases that wouldn't open after purchase, ability payments going wrong, and narration cutting off mid-sentence. The ICPO delivery animation was polished too — no more envelope left hanging open, no more card snapping shut in a single frame. ◆ CLOSING ARTICLES WORTH READING The newspaper article that follows a solved case has grown from a short result blurb into a record of the investigation itself: which question turned the tide, which piece of evidence sealed it. Article pages now share the newsprint design of the paper's list view, and the narrator no longer repeats the same form of address in every sentence. ◆ CRIME ADVISOR, CLEANED UP The Crime Advisor mode now runs on a single unified color scheme, with the profile and turn-log screens brought in line with the other modes. New background art arrived — the alley just before the capture operation, among others — and advisors you haven't traced yet now appear on the dashboard. The chat input bar and the bubbles match a standard investigation. ◆ READABLE IN EVERY LANGUAGE Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and Arabic now use dedicated typefaces, so characters that used to go missing are back. The handwriting font no longer renders CJK or Arabic as blanks. Text overflow and mid-word cutoffs are fixed in German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish and Vietnamese; Arabic progress bars now fill right to left as they should; and Traditional Chinese newspaper dates no longer slip into Simplified forms. ◆ ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Instant Scan and Perfect Memory draw only on what the case file actually contains • First launch shows a loading indicator instead of a blank screen • Guest accounts can be deleted in full from Settings — the account first, then local data, with nothing left behind • New dashboard backgrounds • Case-file cards no longer break with two-line titles • Gear-up screens and dialogs no longer clip their text ◆ FIRST TIME HERE? Chat of Deduction is a detective mystery. When an investigation can go no further, the case comes to the consulting detective — to you. Read the clues, cross-check the alibis, then name the culprit with the evidence that proves it. Every case is written fresh, so nobody has solved it before you and no walkthrough exists. Take on cold cases, chase the Phantom Thief, and hunt the advisor who plans other people's crimes. Interrogation is free-form, without dialogue options. Start as a guest in seconds. The next case, as always, is one nobody has ever solved. Happy hunting, detective.
