About this app
The Chester House Estate Application provides an augmented reality (AR) heritage experience. The app includes an integrated web browser and two augmented reality trails, one based on the 10,000-year history of the site and one on the Roman excavations. As visitors complete the trails, they unlock items that they have discovered and viewed in AR. These items include around 40 GPS located interactive 3D models of Roman buildings and artefacts such as coins and pottery.
