CitNOW Bodyshop is part of a range of CitNOW video applications used in the automotive sector. CitNOW Bodyshop uses video and still images to record collision damage and any pre-existing damage (which can be defined as smart repair or retail work) on the vehicle in question. The CitNOW video can be sent quickly and easily from the app to any insurer and vehicle owner for approval. During a recording, the assessor can tap the screen to mark and capture still images of special interest without interrupting the video. On completion of the video, there is an additional opportunity to take high-resolution photographs which are also linked to the same video. The app allows the user to enter recipient details who will be notified by email or text message with a conveniently short web address to a mobile friendly webpage where they can review and approve the work instantly, saving them time and money. CitNOW Bodyshop helps to speed up the approval process. It also increases user profitability through increased retail up sell and provides an unequivocal condition assessment record.
