About this app

Datatool is a Thatcham insurance industry approved GPS/GLONASS/GSM based tracking and theft notification service designed specifically for scooters and motorcycles but now with Journey History and G-Sense impact detection. Datatool activates automatically as soon as the ignition is switched off and monitors the bike for signs of unauthorised movement. If movement is detected without the ignition being switched on and the bike is moved away from where it was parked, Datatool will enter full alert mode and notification will be sent to the dedicated 24/7/365 Datatool Monitoring Team. In the event of a suspected theft, the Datatool Monitoring Team will contact the owner immediately and if a theft is confirmed, will liaise with the Police on the owner’s behalf to aid recovery. The Datatool app allows owners to view the location of their vehicle(s), view journey history, enable the G-Sense alert crash detection, manage account details and communicate directly with the Datatool Monitoring Team. What's new - The Settings, App Settings and Account screens have been rebuilt and regrouped into clearer sections, including a new section with the user guides relevant to you. - When your alarm is out of Bluetooth range, the alarm screen now shows the last state it received and how long ago, instead of only "connection lost". - Turning Bluetooth off on the alarm screen now tells you Bluetooth is off and offers a Retry, and reconnects on its own once you switch it back on. - Settings now has a Sold Vehicle Form section. - You can now edit your mobile number from the Account screen. Bug fixes - The app crashing on start after reinstalling it: deleting and reinstalling the app could leave it closing immediately every time you opened it, with no way to recover. It now signs you back in normally. - When pairing an alarm by typing its serial number, the number keypad now has a Done button, so you can close it and tap Continue. - Scrolling quickly through Alerts or Location Shares no longer occasionally repeats an entry in the list. - The immobilisation state showing the wrong status: a vehicle set to Automatic no longer reads "Unknown", and a parked vehicle now reads "Armed" instead of sitting on "Pending". - The Agree and Disagree buttons on the privacy policy and terms screens now match the rest of the app, and the text no longer runs underneath them.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
