Daylume is a light assistant that lives on your wrist. It knows exactly when golden hour, blue hour, sunrise and sunset happen wherever you are — and taps you before the light turns, so you never miss the shot again. Built watch-first. Every calculation runs offline on the watch, and out of the box the app makes no network requests at all. No subscription, ever. THE ASSISTANT • A gentle tap on your wrist before golden hour, blue hour, sunrise or sunset — you choose what and how early (up to 60 min). • Complications for every watch face: current phase and the next light event, always visible. • Smart Stack aware: Daylume surfaces itself when the light is about to get interesting. NOW • Live light phase — Night, Blue Hour, Golden Hour, Daylight — with a countdown to the next change. • Sunrise, sunset and solar noon at a glance. SUN & MOON COMPASS • See exactly where the sun and moon are right now (azimuth + elevation). • Today's sunrise and sunset directions marked on the dial — plan your frame before the light arrives. PLAN ANY DAY • The full light timeline for any date: blue hour, golden hour, sunrise, solar noon, sunset — up to nine events per day. • Day length, anywhere on Earth, any date. At polar latitudes the timeline is honest about it: events that do not occur are simply not listed, and the day is labelled polar day or polar night instead of showing a fake sunrise. MOON & ASTRO DARKNESS • Moon phase, illumination, moonrise and moonset. • Next full moon and new moon. • Astro Darkness Window: tonight's stretch of astronomical darkness with the moon below the horizon — the window for stars and the Milky Way. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE • Every sun and moon time is computed on your watch with verified astronomy math (NOAA solar model). No account. No servers of ours. No analytics. App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected. • A default install makes zero network requests. Your location is stored on the watch and used only for the maths. • There is exactly one switch that can change that, and it ships off: turn on "Look up place name" and your coordinate goes to Apple's own geocoding service, purely to put a place name on the screen. That is the only network request Daylume can ever make, it is under Apple's privacy terms, and switching it back off deletes the cached name at once. Nothing is ever sent to us. • Works with no phone and no connection — on a summit, at sea, anywhere. When there is no place name, you simply see your coordinates. ONE PRICE, FOREVER No subscription.
