The de Buik app helps you quickly find a restaurant that suits you, selected by the food experts at De Buik. De Buik is the award-winning platform for the local food culture in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht with more than 1,500 food and drinks businesses in its database, supported by more than 4,000 journalistic stories about the best restaurants, bistros, brasseries, pizzerias, bakeries, breakfast shops, lunchrooms and the best coffee shops, cocktail bars, wine bars, cafes, bars, beach bars and terraces. The Buik app uses your (GPS) location to clearly arrange the best things in your area for you. The app has the best and most current information on these matters. This always consists of a short reason why you should eat or drink here and beautiful photos of the business. You can click on for more detailed explanations per case on more than 70 criteria, such as design, type of cuisine (Italian, Chinese, Mexican or, for example, pizza, sushi or burgers) and you can read journalistic stories about all things that make them so special. With this update we have implemented improvements to the backend of the app for a better and even more personalized experience. Additionally, discovering tips on the map has become a lot more convenient.
