No prior knowledge of the games is needed. The content developed with Revolutionary Spaces, Boston's foremost organisation for Revolutionary-era history, and is powered by the Niantic Spatial platform. Echoes of Revolution: Boston is a collaboration between Sugar Creative, Ubisoft, and Revolutionary Spaces, with support from the City of Boston and Meet Boston.
