About this app
Examine is a quiet, scripture-first Bible reader for people who want to read closely and think carefully. Named for the Bereans of Acts 17:11 who "examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so", Examine is built for that kind of reading, and it holds one firm line: the AI never writes or paraphrases Scripture. Every verse comes straight from a published translation, shown exactly as published. READ • NIV, NLT, The Message, and ESV • A calm, typographic reader that opens any verse in its full chapter, never stripped of context • Highlight verses in four colors; highlights follow the verse across translations • Everything saved on your device with no account required STUDY • Ask: pose a question and get a grounded answer that points to the passages it rests on • Weigh: test any teaching, lyric, sermon, or quote against Scripture; Examine surfaces the passages for and against, and lets you judge • Trace: follow a phrase across the whole canon, Genesis to Revelation, verified verse by verse • Greek interlinear: read the New Testament word by word, with lemmas, parsing, and every place a word appears PRINCIPLES • Scripture is never generated, paraphrased, or summarized by AI • No ads, no tracking, no account • The reading, and the conclusions, are yours Examine points you to the Word. The rest is between you and it.

What’s New
You can now start a Weigh, Ask, or Trace and step away. Examine sends a notification the moment your study is ready, so a long analysis no longer means waiting on the screen. We also brought every section (Read, Ask, Weigh, Trace, Saved, About) to the top of the reader for quicker access.
