Simple. Private. Free. Fable is a to-do list app that does exactly what you need and nothing you don't. No account required. No internet connection needed. It's free, with no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions. Ever. Your data stays on your device, where it belongs. Why Fable? • Multiple Lists: Organize tasks across as many lists as you need • Fast Entry: Add items to the top or bottom of your list by default, and between existing items, your choice • Drag to Reorder: Hold and drag to rearrange items exactly how you want • Copy: Quickly copy your list to the clipboard • Auto-Archive: Completed items move out of the way automatically so you can focus on what's next • Home Screen Widgets: See your tasks at a glance in small, medium, large, and Lock Screen Widgets. Check items off without even opening the app • Siri Shortcuts: Add items to any list with your voice or build custom automations • Import & Export: Bring in tasks from CSV files or export your lists to share or move to another app (no lock-in) Fable works entirely offline. There are no servers, no tracking, no analytics. Everything is stored locally on your phone. Simple as that. Made by me to finally have the app I needed. The source code is publicly available. No secrets, no hidden data collection - just a straightforward to-do list.
