About this app

Nobody wants to answer "what's for dinner?" at six o'clock. FamilyPlate is one weekly dinner plan that your whole household edits. Save the meals you already cook, drop them onto the week, and the shopping list writes itself. When your partner swaps Tuesday's dinner, your phone knows about it. Start planning the moment you open it. No sign-up wall, no email, no password. — SHARED, NOT SYNCED Invite the household with a six-character code. Everyone sees the same library, the same plan, the same shopping list. No accounts to manage. No "did you remember to send me the recipe?" — ONE WEEK AT A TIME A clean weekly view that shows what's for dinner without bullying you into planning lunch and breakfast too. Reorder, swap, leave a night blank. The plan bends to your week. — A SHOPPING LIST THAT WRITES ITSELF Add a meal to the week and its ingredients land in the list, combined and sorted by aisle. Check things off at the store; everyone sees the strikes. Nothing on Sunday morning to figure out from scratch. — A WHOLE WEEK, PLANNED FOR YOU Stuck? Ask FamilyPlate to fill the week. It plans every night from the meals your household already eats, tells you why it chose them, and respects the dietary restrictions your household has set. Don't like it? Regenerate, or undo it in one tap. — PASTE A LINK, GET A MEAL Found a recipe online? Paste the link, or share the page straight from Safari, and it lands in your library with the photo, ingredients and steps already filled in. — SHARE A MEAL WITH ANYONE Send a meal as a link. The person on the other end opens it in their browser and sees the whole thing — no app, no account, no sign-up. If they have FamilyPlate, it saves into their library in a tap. — DISCOVER WHAT OTHER HOUSEHOLDS COOK A library of meals published by other FamilyPlate families. Sort by what's popular this week or what's newest, filter by tag, and save anything that looks like dinner. Publish your own and watch them get picked up. — SIRI, WIDGETS, AND THE LOCK SCREEN Ask "what's for dinner tonight?" and get an answer. The home-screen widget shows the week ahead at a glance. — START WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Open the app and plan. Sign in with Apple when you want to share with your household, and everything you built as a guest comes with you — no password to forget. Your data is private to your household; invites expire after seven days, and any member can leave at any time. — FAMILYPLATE PRO Unlock week generation, meal suggestions that learn what your family likes, recipe lookup, calorie estimates, drink pairings, cooking insights and Siri shortcuts. One subscription covers the whole household. Available monthly or yearly, with a seven-day free trial. Built for iPhone and iPad. Built for the family table. — SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS FamilyPlate Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. What’s New

Version 1.3 Aug 15, 2026

Ask for a week, get a whole week. A FULL WEEK, NOT A HALF ONE Generate now fills every night rather than whatever it happened to name. If it can only manage part of the week it says so, and one more tap finishes the job. It also tells you why it picked what it picked, and you can undo the whole thing in one go. COOKS FOR THE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD Generated weeks and meal suggestions now respect every member's dietary restrictions, not only the person who asked. If one of you avoids something, it stays off the plan. MEALS THAT LOOK LIKE FOOD Meals created by FamilyPlate now come with a tile that matches the dish instead of a generic one. A SMARTER MODEL BEHIND IT Suggestions and insights run on a stronger model, so the picks are less repetitive and the reasoning is better. Plus fixes for a handful of problems found in testing.
