About this app

FastDDNS is a free Dynamic DNS (DDNS) service with built-in network tools for remote access, device setup, and troubleshooting. Create DDNS hostnames, track IP changes, and diagnose connection problems from one mobile app. FastDDNS is especially useful for CCTV installers, IT technicians, home lab users, and anyone managing devices behind a changing public IP. Why FastDDNS Most DDNS apps stop at hostname management. FastDDNS also includes a LAN scanner, ping with live graphs, DNS and Whois lookups, a CGNAT checker, and a CCTV storage calculator — tools commonly used during on-site setup and troubleshooting. It also provides setup references for common devices and systems, including Dahua, Hikvision, MikroTik, pfSense, DrayTek, Windows clients, and Linux-based environments. What you can do with FastDDNS • Create and manage DDNS hostnames • View current IP, last update time, expiry date, and service pack details • Review recent IP update history • Check CGNAT when remote access is not working • Turn on IP change notifications • Add notes to each hostname for easier organization • Move hostnames between service packs Built-in network tools Ping Test any hostname or IP address and view real-time latency with min, avg, max, packet loss, standard deviation, and a live graph. LAN Scanner Discover devices on your local network, including IP addresses, gateway details, device types, and open ports. Useful for installation, verification, and troubleshooting. DNS Lookup Check common DNS records for a domain, including A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and NS. MX Lookup Look up mail server records for a domain. Domain Whois Lookup View registration details for a domain name. IP Whois Lookup Identify the organization behind a public IP address. CCTV Storage Calculator Estimate storage requirements for camera systems based on channels, bitrate, resolution, and recording schedule. Useful for real deployments FastDDNS is designed for: • CCTV installers working with Dahua, Hikvision, NVR, DVR, and IP camera setups • IT technicians managing routers, firewalls, servers, and Windows clients • MikroTik, pfSense, and DrayTek users who need practical DDNS support • Home lab and self-hosting users who want simple hostname management and diagnostics • Anyone who needs free DDNS plus useful network tools on mobile Plan options FastDDNS offers multiple ways to get started: • Free 1 Hostname — one hostname valid for one year at no cost • Free with Limited Use — create additional hostnames, each active for 30 days (reactivate to continue using) • Premium Packs — more hostnames and longer validity for users managing multiple devices The DDNS update protocol is DynDNS-compatible, so it also works with third-party clients and scripts. FastDDNS focuses on practical DDNS management, remote access support, and network diagnostics in a simple mobile experience.
