About this app
The Flight For Life app is a tool for emergency responders and hospitals. An authorized app user can transmit an emergency flight request directly to Flight For Life and send the following vital information: - GPS location for scene flights - Unit and room number for interfacility flights - Patient information such as weight and vital signs. Requestors will receive confirmation that Flight For Life is en route and provided an estimated length of time until arrival. Using the app, the requestor can monitor the position of the aircraft with a Google-based map that also provides real-time updates for current location and approximate arrival of the helicopter. Registration is required for all users.
