Fairer fluency scoring, and results you can look back on. • Fluency is fairer: pausing to breathe at a natural point in a sentence no longer counts as hesitation, and one long pause is no longer counted against you twice. Most fluency scores will rise a little. • Fixed a glitch on the newest iOS versions where words you spoke clearly could be struck through as missed or mispronounced. Read Aloud and Repeat Sentence scores are accurate again. • Words that sound identical but can be written more than one way — freshwater/fresh water, armour/armor, ten/10, eighteenth/18th — are no longer counted as mistakes. • Your past attempts now show the full picture: the original text, what you said, and exactly where they differ. • When you say a word in a different form — "prefer" instead of "preferred" — results now highlight the right word. • Added a score guide explaining how Content, Fluency and Pronunciation are worked out, plus clearer result actions and better support for larger text sizes.
