FOREWORD is a daily word chain puzzle. Every day, 16 letter-fragment tiles. Your goal: weave them into a chain of 5 words. The catch — 4 of the tiles are "thread tiles," each one secretly shared between two consecutive words. A thread tile ends one word and simultaneously begins the next. Finding which tiles are threads, and where they sit in the chain, is the puzzle. THE FOREWORD MOMENT The aha lands when you spot a tile and realize it doesn't just finish one word — it starts the next. That's a thread. Find all four and you've written the foreword. WHAT'S IN IT • One puzzle a day, the same puzzle for every player on Earth • 5 words, 16 tiles, 4 hidden threads — always exactly that • Three difficulty tiers across the week — easier Mon/Tue, hardest Sat/Sun • Hidden theme revealed only after you solve • Discoveries: bonus points for any real English word you spot in the tiles — 2, 3, 4, or 5 letters, longer finds worth more • Streaks, scores, calendar heatmap • Three hints per puzzle, plus an optional rewarded-ad bonus hint • Daily Game Center leaderboard with friend comparison • Native share card with your solve emoji grid • Achievement-tied rank ladder: Novice → Apprentice → Adept → Skilled → Expert → Master → Tight Weave FREE FOREVER, AD-SUPPORTED The daily puzzle is always free. A short ad plays after the completion celebration; you can opt into a rewarded ad for one extra hint when you're stuck. FOREWORD+ (OPTIONAL) Removes ads and unlocks four bonus features: the full puzzle archive (replay any past day), unlimited practice mode, extended stats, and custom tile color themes.
