About this app
FoundIt! Photograph, tag, and always find your stuff. Ever put something "somewhere safe" and never see it again? FoundIt is a dead-simple photo inventory for your things — and, more importantly, for where they're stored. Take a picture of an item, tag it, say which location it lives in, and find it later by searching the tag or scanning the location's QR code. Everything stays 100% on your device. No accounts, no sign-ups, no cloud, no tracking. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Photograph items and locations — snap the item and the place it's stored (a shelf, drawer, bin, or room). • Tag and describe — give each item a name, an optional description, and any number of extra tags. • Assign a storage location — pick an existing spot or create a new one, with its own photo, on the spot. • Two fast capture flows — photograph an item then choose where it lives, OR open a bin and rattle off photos of everything inside it with "Save & add another." • Search by tag — type a tag, name, or description to instantly find an item and where it's stored. • Printable bin QR codes — generate a QR code for any bin, stick it on the physical container, and scan it later to jump straight to that bin's contents. • Fully offline — photos are copied into the app's private storage and your inventory lives on your device. PERFECT FOR • Garages, closets, and storage rooms • Moving and packing boxes • Seasonal gear, decorations, and tools • Craft supplies, spare parts, and collections • Anyone who's tired of asking "where did I put that?" PRIVATE BY DESIGN FoundIt collects nothing. There are no accounts and no servers — your photos and labels never leave your phone. Delete the app and the inventory goes with it. Photograph it. Tag it. FoundIt.
