About this app
GhostNode is an offline application that provides Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and document conversion features. All processing is performed locally on the device; the app does not transmit data to external servers. Features: • Create Searchable PDFs: Convert images (JPG/PNG) or standard PDFs into text-searchable PDF files. • Text Extraction: Extract plain text from images or PDFs and output the results as JSON (API only). • Local Processing: The OCR engine runs entirely on-device without requiring an internet connection. • Share Extension Integration: Import files directly from the system share sheet. • Built-in Local API: GhostNode includes a local HTTP server. When active, it allows processing of documents via standard REST requests (e.g., using cURL) for integration into scripts and automated workflows.
