haikuary is your haiku diary, blending the ancient Japanese art of haiku with the quiet habit of keeping a journal. Each day, you’re invited to pause, notice a small moment, and write it down in three short lines. Whether you keep things private or share with the community, haikuary is a calm, creative space for the tiny flakes of your life. Why haikuary? It began in 2011 in a Japanese restaurant in Auckland, New Zealand with a single haiku which I scribbled on a paper placemat: Come here young noodle, now hop into my belly we shall be good friends I built a website so others could do the same on a daily basis. This is now an app for you to do the same.
