About this app
The official Helsinki City Run (HCR) app. The HCR app is created to better serve runners, spectators, and news media, and to offer them an improved running event experience. For runners, the app provides important information before and during the race and, individual results immediately after the race. For spectators and news media, the app allows them to track chosen runners’ live location (up to 10 runners) on a route map throughout each kilometre of the race. Features: - Important info - Event schedule - Route maps, event area maps - Real-time notifications - Live leaderboard and results - Live tracking (track your favourites and see their estimated location / live location on the map) - Result notification after finishing race - Pace calculator - News Feed - Selfie function for sharing experience - Social streams Helsinki City Run is the largest running event in Finland and contains six running distances: Helsinki City Marathon, Helsinki City Run half marathon, Helsinki City 5 (km), Helsinki City Double (half marathon + marathon), Marathon Relay and children’s Minimarathon.
