Home Video Channel

About this app

Home Video Channel turns your Photos library into a simple, lean-back Apple TV experience. Choose an album or smart channel and let your photos and videos play continuously on the biggest screen in the house. It is built for family videos, everyday moments, trips, holidays, and the quiet background joy of seeing your own memories instead of another blank TV screen. Home Video Channel is intentionally minimal. It focuses on fast playback, clean full-screen viewing, Siri Remote controls, shuffle, repeat, mute, ambient sound, vertical video treatment, and subtle visual looks like a soft camcorder or VHS-style overlay. Highlights: - Play albums and smart channels from your Photos library - Shuffle, repeat all, repeat one, or play through once - Resume where you left off - Keep portrait photos and videos full-screen with blurred backgrounds - Use app-owned favorites, review queue, and hide/skip controls without changing your Photos library - Add ambient sound or mute video audio for a calmer background experience - Use nostalgic looks and frame overlays for a more personal TV experience Home Video Channel does not delete, edit, or upload your Photos library. Photos access is used on the device so you can choose what to play on Apple TV.

Playback and browsing are now smoother, clearer, and more personal. - Moving ambient video backgrounds now stay in sync with playback. - Place channels can be discovered from location and album metadata. - Home channel cards have larger, multi-line titles. - Settings are fully scrollable and focus-friendly on Apple TV. - Seamless dissolves, long-video streaming, premium frames, and vintage looks have been refined.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
