The Washington State Tree Fruit Association (WSTFA) hosts the Annual Meeting and NW Hort Expo. The Annual Meeting continues the tradition of hosting the largest tree fruit educational gathering in the country, and the three day event serves as a forum to discuss the latest trends and hot topics within the tree fruit industry. The WSTFA’s mission is to add value to all segments of the tree fruit industry through educational programs and conferences, statistics to enable growers and packers to plan for market opportunities, and engagement in Washington State government affairs to help address the market uncertainty driven by government policy. The NW Hort Expo’s mission is to connect tree fruit venders with the members of the tree fruit industry. Funds raised help support educational opportunities for many in the tree fruit industry. Continued education is at the heart of the Yakima Pom Club and Washington Northcentral Fieldmen’s Association.
