About this app
We are Northwest Community, the businesses and residents of the Inland Northwest. A little bit of background, my name is Donivan Floyd, and I have been a local of this area my entire life. I have grown up with my father owning a local business, DJs Coins & Collectibles, my entire life, and I have worked in this shop in Coeur d'Alene for the past 7 years. It has been a charming experience watching the people of this area continually show up and support my Dad's company. I have had firsthand experience with the honesty, kindness, and face-to-face interactions people get when supporting locally owned companies. It is an important staple, and I believe it is not something we should let die out. I am passionate about supporting locally owned companies and keeping our money local, and supporting our neighbors, as my neighbors have supported my family. I believe we have a choice to make: we can continue to let corporate companies shut down the charming establishments that have held our community together for so long, or we can unite as a community to support them. I believe our businesses should support the residents of this area as well, which leads me to this app. INW Community is a community page, event calendar, business directory, coupon book, and online storefront for local businesses in the Inland Northwest. Join community groups to discuss common interests with people in our area, meet new people, see what's happening in our area on our calendars, earn points for supporting local businesses, and redeem those points for spectacular prizes. The goal of this app is to create a fun, motivating experience that supports locally owned companies. If you live in the Inland Northwest, you have every reason to download the app! Why? Well, because it is made entirely for you, this is an EXCLUSIVE app... so be a part of this community! If you read all that, I am very thankful for you taking the time to do so! I cannot wait for what we have in store, tag along!
