About this app

Italy has more native grape varieties and more wine denominations than any country on earth — and no map has ever quite fit in your pocket. Italian Wine Atlas is that map. Built by a wine educator, it covers all 20 Italian wine regions and 530 denominations — 79 DOCG, 332 DOC and 119 IGT — from the famous names to the village wines you only meet at the source. For every wine you get the grapes behind it, the appellation rules that shape it, how it tastes, how to serve it, and — the part most books skip — what to actually eat with it, both the local Italian dish and an international pairing. Explore by region, jump straight to a grape and see everywhere it turns up, or open the classification pyramid in the Learn section to finally understand what DOCG, DOC and IGT really mean. Everything lives inside the app. No account, no sign-up, no internet needed — open it in a cellar, a restaurant with no signal, or a hillside vineyard and it just works. No ads, no tracking, nothing collected about you. Whether you're studying for WSET, working a wine list, travelling through Piedmont, or simply want to know what's in the glass — this is the reference you'll keep coming back to. - All 20 Italian wine regions - 530 denominations (79 DOCG · 332 DOC · 119 IGT), 640+ wine entries - Every major grape variety, cross-linked to its wines - Food pairings — local Italian + international — for each wine - Appellation rules and ageing requirements in plain language - A Learn section: the DOCG/DOC/IGT classification, explained - Fully offline · no ads · no tracking · no account Salute. Smoother, faster browsing in large lists and layout fixes on smaller screens.
