About this app

Jym is differs from other workout log apps in that it only focuses what is necessary. The UI is straightforward and easy to use. You add your workout days, workouts for each day, and view graphs to see how you have improved over the length of weeks or months. Whether you are a seasoned workout gym bro or a new fitness pioneer trying to keep track of progress over time, this app is made for you! WORKOUT TRACKING Track your workouts each day! On your workout day, a workout form will autofill with your workout weight, reps, and sets from your previous day. Simply press the Record button to log a workout for that day or change a parameter to track your growth. WEIGHT IMPROVEMENT For each workout, see your how you have improved over time! The graphs track the weight associated with each workout and averages them across each week. See your improvements and consistency over the past year. DAILY ACTIVITY LOG A daily activity log appears on the main screen of the Charts tab. It displays the total number of sets performed across all of your workouts. It helps keep track of how active each workout day is and how often you attend the gym. WORKOUT DAY-SPECIFIC STREAK TRACKING Jym also provides a streak tracking feature for each workout day. The streaks are displayed in a circle chart, where working out 10 consecutive weeks yields a full circle. Hold a continuous 10-week streak for your top four workout days to fill up the circles! HISTORICALLY INSPIRED UI We wanted to design an app that was beautiful to look at, which allows the experience of using a workout app not just be a chore. Our schemes and visuals are heavily inspired from ancient Greek and Egyptian art. The color schemes for our streaks chart is inspired by European star charts from the 15th-18th centuries.
