About this app
Kanbash is a task tracker for people who'd rather type `mv 3` than tap through three menus. Instead of drag-and-drop boards or nested folders, Kanbash borrows the command vocabulary you already know from the terminal - ls, cd, mkdir, mv, rm - and repurposes it for tasks and subtasks. Every command has a tap-equivalent too, so it works whether you live in the command bar or just want to check boxes. WORKS THE WAY YOU ALREADY THINK - ls - list your tasks, or the subtasks inside one - cd [task] - step into a task, cd .. to back out - mkdir [name] / mk [name] - create a task, or a subtask inside one - mv [n] - toggle a subtask done or open - push / pull - reorder items front-to-back - get / put - cut a subtask from one task, drop it into another - rm / rmdir - delete a subtask, or a whole task Every action - tapped or typed - updates a live command-line header, so you always see the exact command that just ran. MAKE IT YOURS Rename any command to whatever you'd naturally type instead. The vocabulary above is just the default. BUILT-IN STATS AND CALENDAR See your progress as ASCII-style bar charts, and browse what's due by day on a real calendar view - no separate app required. TRY IT INSTANTLY Load a full set of sample tasks with one command and see the whole app in action before you type a single task of your own. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No accounts. No sign-in. No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Everything lives on your device - full stop. DESIGNED, NOT SKINNED Kanbash isn't a terminal emulator wearing an app icon - it uses terminal syntax as a visual language: a monospace type system, a live $ prompt, // comments, and [bracket] links instead of hidden swipe gestures.
