Komirun: Pet & Home Camera

About this app

Turn any old phone into a pet cam, baby monitor, or home camera — no new hardware required. Just leave a spare phone in the room and check in live on your pet (dogs, cats, hamsters, and other small animals), kids, or elderly parents from anywhere. No dedicated camera to buy. Setup takes minutes, no technical skills needed. HOW IT WORKS — 3 EASY STEPS 1. Install Komirun on your old phone, tap "Make This Phone the Camera," plug it in, and set it in the room 2. Sign in with the same account on your everyday phone, pick the camera from the list, and start watching 3. Want family to watch too? Invite them with a QR code or pairing code LIVE VIEW, ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE - Watch live video and audio in real time — home Wi-Fi to mobile data, it just works - Automatic reconnection if the connection drops, and automatic recovery when a camera comes back online - Tap for full screen, pinch to zoom up to 4x for a closer look - Night Mode keeps dark rooms visible - When a camera is offline, the last frame received is shown in the list TALK BACK & CONTROL THE LIGHT - Hold to talk — a push-to-talk button lets you speak to your pet or a child who's home before you - Turn the camera's light on or off remotely (supported devices only) MOTION ALERTS - Get a push notification when the camera detects motion (spaced out so you're not overwhelmed) - Premium plans automatically record a ~30-second clip the moment motion is detected. Browse, save, and share these moments in your daily Timeline WATCH TOGETHER AS A FAMILY - Invite family with a QR code, pairing code, or invite link - No account needed to join — just a nickname - Great for sharing caregiving with siblings when parents live far away - See who has access at any time, and remove access with one tap MANAGE MULTIPLE CAMERAS - Keep an eye on the living room, front door, and your parents' house all from one list - See each camera's online/offline status in real time - Reused a phone before? Restart streaming with the same settings in one tap THE CAMERA SIDE JUST WORKS - The screen stays awake automatically while streaming - Power Save Mode dims the screen to save battery without drawing attention - Check charging status, battery level, and motion detection right on the camera screen YOUR VIDEO NEVER TOUCHES OUR SERVERS Live video and audio travel directly between devices and are never stored on Komirun's servers. Only Premium motion-detection clips are saved to the cloud so you can look back later (automatically deleted after 30 days; you can also delete any clip from the list anytime).
