About this app
MapTheBite is a map of restaurants that YouTube food vloggers have actually eaten at, on camera. It isn't a restaurant directory and it isn't built on star ratings. Every pin on the map comes from a real video: a creator went to that place, ordered a specific dish, and filmed it. We save the moment in the video where they ate it, so you can watch the exact bite before you decide to go. • Browse the map — every pin is a place from a food video, with the dish named. • Tap a pin, then the YouTube button — the clip opens at the timestamp of that dish, not the start of a 30-minute vlog. • Filter by dish, city, or channel — follow one creator's trail through a city, or find everywhere that a dish has been reviewed near you. • Use your location to centre the map on what's nearby. No account needed. No ads. Nothing to sign up for — open the app and start exploring. Restaurant and dish information is drawn from publicly available YouTube videos and is attributed to the creator who filmed it.

Ratings growth
Baseline captured. Growth appears after the crawler observes a changed rating count.
Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
