mypreffy is a travel app that inspires and helps people find attractions within their own preferences

We've made the map smarter, faster, and more reliable in this release, along with a small but helpful account update. The map now lets you filter what you see — People you follow, My preferences, or Show everything — so you can focus on the recommendations that matter most to you. You can also use Search in this area to discover more places in the part of the map you're actually looking at, rather than results hidden behind the header or bottom sheet. The map list view opens faster and scrolls more smoothly, even with lots of results, and empty locations now include a clear Create first recommendation button when there are no recommendations yet. Panning and zooming is smoother, especially in cities with many pins. Pins load correctly when you view someone's recommendations, your profile, or a bucket list, without needing to move the map first. Searching for a person on the map now shows only that person's recommendations. The map no longer stays blank when your location is slow or unavailable — it falls back to an approximate view instead. We've also fixed pins appearing dark or stuck behind a loading overlay, improved map framing for countries that cross the date line such as New Zealand, and restored bottom sheets to open at the correct height. If you add a password to a social login account, we now confirm that both sign-in methods keep working — you can still sign in with email and password as well as your linked Google, Apple, or Meta account.
