About this app
MyVeganPal is a free vegan scanner app, which tells you if your food is vegan or not. You can use it to avoid the risk of accidentally eating non-vegan food, because some foods are not vegan, even if all ingredients seem to be vegan. You can use it to optimize your vegan diet (e. g. vegan keto) or to check if you are really using plant based recipes. It uses the Open Food Facts Database which is one of the largest Food-Databases in the world (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Food_Facts). Scanned food also comes with a product-picture, to help you identify your scanned food. Please note, that some products can have incomplete or improper information.
