About this app

nana is where you find homemade food made by people who live near you. Not a restaurant. Not a ghost kitchen. Someone's actual kitchen, a few streets away, cooking the thing they grew up on. FIND FOOD WORTH DRIVING FOR Scroll a feed of real dishes from real cooks in your area — tamales made on Sunday, sourdough out of a home oven, curry from a family recipe that was never written down. Search by dish, cuisine or ingredient, and see what's cooking near you. FOLLOW THE COOKS YOU LOVE Every cook has a shop: their dishes, their story, their reviews from people who've eaten their food. Follow them and you'll know when something new comes out of the kitchen. ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT An order on nana starts a conversation. Tell a cook what you'd like and how many portions, and they reply. You agree the details together — when, where, how much — then pay them directly when you pick it up. No checkout, no middleman between you and the person cooking. WATCH FOR DROPS Some cooks announce a batch ahead of time: forty tamales this Sunday, first come first served. Follow a cook and you'll hear about it. COOK FOR YOUR NEIGHBOURS If you're the one who cooks, nana gives you a shop of your own. Post your dishes, set your prices and portions, and take requests from people nearby. Share recipes and posts, build a following, and turn the thing you already do into something people show up for. MEET ORI ORI is nana's helper. Ask it what to cook, what to charge, or how to get your first dish online — it knows your kitchen and answers in plain language. A PLACE THAT STAYS GOOD Report anything that doesn't belong, block or mute anyone you'd rather not hear from, and we'll act on it. Reviews come from people who actually ordered. nana is free to download and free to browse. You can look around before you make an account. nana — love is served.

What’s New

Version 4.4.5 Aug 21, 2026

Ordering is clearer. Every order shows a total you can actually see — the dish, the quantity, and a delivery fee you and the cook agree between you. Settle it however suits you both. Coupons come off the price now, instead of being screenshotted into a chat. Nothing you start gets lost. Posts, dishes and recipes save themselves as you write, so you can put your phone down mid-sentence and come back to it. Whatever you haven't finished is waiting on the create screen. ORI helps more, and in your language. Tell it what the dish is before it drafts, or ask it to try again. It can write a caption while you're looking at the photo, and recipes come back in the language you actually speak. Uploads finish. Big photos and long videos no longer give up part-way, and a shaky connection can't strand a half-posted dish. You can post a video straight from your album, or share into nana from anywhere on your phone. A feed worth scrolling. Following someone now means you actually see them, and the same dish won't come round twice in a day. Group chats, so you can cook with more than one person at once. Photos and video you can look at properly. Scrub through a video, pinch to zoom in on a dish, tap any profile picture to see it full size. Pictures sent in a chat open full-screen, zoom, and can be saved. Messages make sense again. The keyboard stays out of the way of what you're typing, and every message shows the day it was sent, not just the time. Plus a long list of smaller fixes throughout the app.
