About this app

Nautilus is a dive logbook built by a diver. It pulls dives off your Bluetooth dive computer, stores everything on your device first, and gives you a beautiful polaroid-style journal to look back on every trip. DIVE COMPUTER SYNC Connects to most Bluetooth dive computers like Shearwater, Suunto, Mares, Cressi, Garmin, Aqualung, Oceanic, and dozens more (anything libdivecomputer supports). Downloads every dive with the full depth profile, gas mix, temperatures, and ascent rate. YOUR DATA, YOUR DEVICE Everything is stored locally on your phone first. If you create an account, your data is uploaded over HTTPS and encrypted at rest on our servers. We don't read it, we don't share it, and you can export or delete the whole thing in one tap. POLAROID LOGBOOK Every dive is a polaroid card you can scroll through. Add your own photos, location, buddies, notes, gear. Group dives into trips. See every dive site you've ever logged on a map, and replay your diving history on a journey timeline. BUDDIES & FRIENDS Add buddies to each dive. Connect with diving friends via buddy codes and share dives, certifications, emergency contacts or gear setups. Each category is opt-in. MARINE FORECAST Marine and atmospheric forecast for any site you've logged: water temperature, swell, wind, current. Powered by Open-Meteo. EMERGENCY ASCENT TRAINER A BCD / emergency-ascent simulator to practice ascent control between trips, or for instructors to demo it to students. Real physics, immediate feedback, zero real-world risk. EXPORT FREEDOM Export to Subsurface XML, to a full Nautilus backup file (.nautilus), or import existing logs from FFESSM, Subsurface, or another Nautilus install. Your data is never locked in. FREE, NO ADS, NO SUBSCRIPTION Nautilus is free. No ads, no analytics, no upsell screen, no subscription. Sign up if you want backup and friends; skip it if you don't. PRIVACY No analytics. No third-party SDKs beyond the dive-computer Bluetooth library, Apple/Google sign-in, Mapbox for map tiles, and Open-Meteo for forecasts. Full privacy policy and one-tap account deletion in-app. WHO IT'S FOR Recreational divers, technical divers, dive instructors, and anyone tired of dive log apps that hide their data behind a paywall. Metric or imperial, CMAS / PADI / SSI role conventions. LANGUAGES English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Indonesian, Thai, Tagalog.
