About this app

Pakto is an app for signing contracts with cryptographic protection. Both parties sign the agreement on their devices—online via a secure session or offline via a QR code, without an internet connection. HOW IT WORKS Party A creates a contract and signs it with a cryptographic signature tied to the device’s biometrics. Party B reviews the text and signs in response. Both parties receive a PDF with embedded digital signatures and a checksum for independent verification of authenticity. Pakto stores ciphertext only and never sees the content SECURITY AND VERIFICATION - ECDSA P-256 digital signature, the generation of which is protected by the device’s biometrics (Face ID / fingerprint); the private key never leaves the device - RFC 3161 Trusted Time Stamp (TSA) — records the moment of signing and prevents backdating - SHA-256 checksum of the document—any changes to the text after signing are detected during verification - PAdES-LTV long-term validation—the signed PDF complies with the PAdES-LTV standard for long-term validation; the signature remains verifiable even after the certificates expire WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED Offline mode: The contract is not uploaded to a server—data is exchanged directly between devices. Online mode: The contract is temporarily available on servers in the EU for no longer than 3 hours, after which it automatically becomes unavailable. We do not maintain a permanent archive of signed contracts. Your signature key always remains on your phone. IDENTIFICATION - Verification via device biometrics - Identity verification via a qualified electronic signature (QES) - Optional phone number verification - Optional email linking to your profile - Support for multiple profiles on a single device LEGAL STATUS Basic signature—a simple electronic signature. After a one-time verification via Diya.Signature, the signature is upgraded to an advanced electronic signature (AES) in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Electronic Identification and Electronic Trust Services,” and the parties’ agreement to consider it equivalent to a handwritten signature is recorded in the text of the contract (Part 3 of Article 207 of the Civil Code of Ukraine). WHAT PAKTO IS NOT SUITABLE FOR It does not replace a notary. Do not use it for real estate transactions, powers of attorney, wills, prenuptial agreements, or the registration of rights in state registries—these require a qualified electronic signature (QES) or a notary. What's New in Pakto Multi-signature A single document can now be signed by several parties in one ceremony — up to 10 participants, fully offline. A coordinator runs the session, holds the original, and signs as an equal. Ideal when there are more than two sides — e.g. tenant, landlord and agent. Stronger photo evidence We've significantly hardened the technical side of photo evidence. Every shot now passes several independent checks at the moment of capture and is cryptographically bound to the document: camera provenance (C2PA), anti-spoofing, device attestation, a trusted timestamp and a hash-chain. Photos become tamper-evident and verifiable even outside Pakto. Stability Fixed bugs and polished the details.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
