About this app
Pomyannik is an Orthodox app for keeping commemoration lists for the living and the departed. Instead of scattered paper notes you have a neat, always-with-you digital prayer list. The app supports 35 interface languages – including English, Russian, Ukrainian, Greek, Romanian, Georgian, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese and more. What you can do • Add names for health and for repose in separate tabs. • Add short notes (family relations, special intentions). • Quickly find any name via search. • Reorder names the way it is convenient for you. • Adjust font size for comfortable reading. • Choose the app interface language (English, Ukrainian, Russian and others). • Use Church Slavonic texts with a beautiful Monomakh Unicode font. Why it can be helpful The app helps you: • prepare commemoration lists before going to church or monastery; • not forget those you wanted to pray for; • keep names with you even if you don’t have a paper book; • carefully preserve the memory of your loved ones and benefactors. Features • Calm, readable design inspired by a printed Orthodox commemoration book. • No registration or accounts – your data stays on your device. • Data is stored locally and, if iCloud is enabled, may be backed up in your iCloud account. • No ads or tracking. Pomyannik does not replace church life, but gently helps you to remember those you pray for.
